Our Story

BrightSpark Learning was founded in 2016 by two former MOE teachers who shared a frustration: they watched bright, capable students lose confidence simply because the support they needed wasn't available in a large classroom setting. Sarah and David left their teaching careers to build something different — a small, warm centre where every child is known by name, every teacher is genuinely passionate about their subject, and every parent feels like a real partner in their child's education. We started with two classes in a one-room shopfront in Tampines. Today we occupy a dedicated centre space with six classrooms and a full team of experienced, MOE-trained teachers. Our student numbers have grown steadily through word of mouth — because when a child's grade improves and their confidence grows, parents tell their friends. Our philosophy is simple: children learn best when they feel safe to try, safe to get things wrong, and genuinely engaged with the material. We build that environment deliberately, in every class, every week.
